A True Homestay
Dear Mundax: our stay with you has been the highlight of our experience in Kerala.

A true homestay! Your warmth, friendliness and openness have helped us to relax and feel very much at home with you.

Meeting our dietary needs as you know has been a real challenge until now. It has been a great relief to find a place that not only understands our requirements but makes the food delicious and nutritious. Thanks very much to Benny, he is a wonderful chef.

Our time here has been an excellent balance of very interesting experiences and welcome relaxation time. Thank you for looking after us so well and thinking of everything we might need.

We appreciate your philosophy of life and your strength to live by your principles even if others do not understand your choices, they probably will in time.

With love and best wishes.

Hospitality with Love
I have had a very pleasant and inspiring stay.

Mathew, I am extremely impressed by your attention to detail, understanding of people; how to deal with them, and your hospitality with love. Your project here is – combined with your positive attitude – a fine example of “right livelihood”. As a host you bring joy to others, and I trust they will naturally find ways to support you and your work.

Personally, I was so glad that my strict yogic diet requirements could be met with such ease. This is the first time in recent weeks that I have been able to enjoy good home cooked food without worrying about it. My thanks also to Benny – a special touch!

I have also enjoyed meditating here, swimming and sharing a laugh. Finally I am inspired and excited by the task you have set yourself with regards to developing the garden. I am sure that as the months and years pass, a beautiful forest will spring forth attracting not only guests, but also birds and animals in good numbers. Your endeavor is in harmony with nature and therefore important and guaranteed success. May the divine continue to manifest in your life and the lives of your guests.

Shangri-La
If there be a place called Shangri-La, this is it. A haven of peace, of twittering birds, colourful butterflies, Lizzie Lizard, Danny and Donna the deer, flowers of every hue, blue azuric skies, Mariah the wind, Suriya ( Sun) dancing on the water and a landscape of green trees.

My salutations to Mat, a listener of rarity and a supreme host. My thanks to Ben, who taught me to eat and alas, enjoy chillies. Ben I still intend to kidnap you and take you to OZ, you master chef.

Thank you Mat for introducing another “Joy” into my life – the nuns and Gods own angels – the disabled ladies. They are all truly blessed and so am I for having spent a very memorable time with them and also with the very humble priest at Kurisumala Ashram – Such humility.

Thank you Mat for being you. To quote your favourite verse – “Lord make me an instrument of your peace” etc. He has done so with you Mat. May the blessings of the one in your heart ever increase. Inshallah

Amazing Hospitality and Opportunities
I could praise the setting in the countryside; I could praise the wonderful, delicious food. But the two most important features which have made our stay absolutely amazing are your hospitality and the opportunities you have provided.

You hospitality is truly exceptional and has made this house both a physical and mental oasis. The opportunities and experiences presented by you have shown how inadequate all these travel guides are at describing the beauty of Kerala.

You will be successful at this new enterprise, and I hope to return soon.

New Year Gift
What a wonderful New Year gift we had when luck brought us to your wonderful home!

Not only the beautiful, peaceful and extremely comfortable environment you are an incredible host even amongst the wonderful Kerala hospitality. Your thoughtfulness, amazing attention to every detail and great ideas and experiences second to none made our stay incredibly memorable.

What a wonderful trips in the nearby wildlife parks. Even getting up at 5.00 am to take us to see sunrise at Eagle Rock Point!! Who else would do that for their guests!!

So thanks for the most memorable, enjoyable, peaceful stay.

Wishing you much luck for your venture – I am sure we will be finding it hard to get a room in a few seasons time.
