Matthew made sure we had everything we needed and went beyond by taking us on a hiking trip, arranged a massage at the local Ayurveda Centre and arranged a taxi for our next trip. He also provided, through our choice, two sessions of yoga a day which added to the calming atmosphere.

We both thoroughly recommend this as a place to visit. Outside the homestay one can stroll through the rich green tea gardens, have a massage, hike the hills, and the Periyar Wildlife Reserve is an hours drive away.
